Acer India has used a camera attached to an Acer Laptop to shoot its latest television campaign.The ad film, features brand ambassador Hrithik Roshan,and directed by Abhinay Deo.
The film starts with Roshan questioning the use of the camera attached to the Acer laptop to shoot the ad. He seeks an assurance from Deo and the client, before he starts work on it. Roshan then introduces the new features of the laptop, the ultra light weight, the ultra fast speed and the dolby sound.Hrithik is so cool in the film with his manners and shows his commitment by checking with the client and the director.Also,Acer has third generation intel core processor equipped in their laptop.

I have not understood as to how it can be claimed that the TVC was shot using Acer laptops. Obviously the built-in webcam was not used in the shooting; the laptop was fitted with cameras as your article says. So the cameras were actually used for shooting and not the laptops, then what were the laptops doing? Were they used only as monitors when shooting? So I come back to my original question -- How it can be claimed that the TVC was shot using Acer laptops? There is no clarity on this in your above article.
ReplyDeleteI find that the ad fails to communicate its message. The celebrity seems to dominate while the brand and the benefits the ad seeks to convey to the prospective buyers play a subordinate role.
